The Ohio Power Siting Board is holding two public hearings for homeowners to voice their opinions about the project.
The proposal would connect the Circleville and Chillicothe substations. Steel poles would guide the lines and they require 100-foot wide clearance.
AEP says the project would improve the reliability of electric services in southern Central Ohio.
The meetings are scheduled for November 5 at 6:00 p.m. at the Pioneer School for Developmental Disabilities at 11268 County Road 550 in Chillicothe.
The second meeting is November 6 at 6:00 p.m. at the Amvets Post 2256 at 818 Tarlton Road in Circleville.
